Just like the S2, the Sony S1 that got the Federal Commission's approval has 850x1900 MHz 3G connectivity. And you know what that means: it can - theoretically - be launched by AT&T (or by Canadian carriers).
Sure enough, we're still waiting for official details from Sony regarding carrier availability, so don't get your hopes up just yet if you want to see the two tablets on AT&T.
The Sony S1 has a single 9.1 inch touchscreen display (unlike the S2, which has two 5.5 inch ones) and features Wi-Fi, and access to the PlayStation Network. Sony said both tablets are running Android Honeycomb, but they may get Android Ice Cream Sandwich before launch.
