The S1 will be a 9.4″ tablet device that will sport a 3.0 or (above) version of the Android Honeycomb operating system, where it will be accompanied by the custom-made “Quick and Smooth” user interface as well as a “Swift” web browser.
Apart from that, it will also feature 2.4GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity as well as support for WCDMA bands II and V radios, which means it will most probably appear Stateside via AT&T, while our friends living in the Great White North will most probably be getting it on Rogers.
There is also the Ericsson F5521gw HSPA+ capable modem which was mentioned in the S2′s FCC filing, which goes to show that this PlayStation Certified tablet is ready to hit retail stores later in the fall.
