Initially there was some fear that the Samsung Galaxy S II will not be making an appearance in the US as Apple may be seeking an injunction that would prevent Samsung from selling some of their products, but as it turns out Apple may have gotten a small victory with the ban of Galaxy Tab 10.1 sales in Australia.
Before Android fans get all riled up claiming it was unfair of Apple to request the ban, it's important to note that Samsung was the one who agreed to the ban and in fact they offered Apple three units of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 that was meant to be sold in Australia. We're guessing that Samsung probably agreed to this to make themselves look like they are cooperating in hopes that perhaps Apple would ease off the pressure in their other sales regions.
The court proceedings in Australia will resume on the 29th of August but for now it looks like Apple has the upper hand.
