Officially unveiled by Acer in early January at CES 2012, the Iconia Tab A510 has been approved by the FCC yesterday - this indicating that an eventual launch in North America is now possible. The Iconia Tab A510 is one of Acer's two new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablets (alongside the Iconia Tab A700). It features a 10.1 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth, Dolby Mobile sound, HDMI, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory. In Europe, the Iconia Tab A510 should become available in March, for prices starting at €399 (that's about $518). |
