Acer's Iconia Tab A200
was promised Ice Cream Sandwich at launch, but unfortunately Acer
didn't manage to deliver on that front. However, it looks like the wait
for the upgrade didn't take too long. It has been reported that the Ice
Cream Sandwich update for the Iconia Tab A200 has started rolling out today.
A changelog hasn't been released for the update but it is said to
improve battery life, performance and introduce a new app for the
2-megapixel camera on the tablet - and of course, upgrade the operating
system to Android 4.0.3. As usual, remember to backup your files just in case anything goes awry. If you don't see the notification to update on the tablet yet, try forcing the update by going into Settings > About Tablet > System update > Check now. Let us know how it goes for you. |
