Acer's affordable Iconia Tab A200 tablet was supposed to be released in the US on January 15. However, it's only now (January 20) that it's actually available for purchase. Only Best Buy seems to have the Iconia Tab A200 in stock for the moment. The retailer is asking $349.99 for the tablet's 16GB model – go here to buy it. The 8GB model, which should cost $329.99, is not available yet (but I assume it will be soon). The Acer Iconia Tab A200 features a 10.1 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels, Wi-Fi, Facebook and Twitter integration, USB (full size), 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 2MP front-facing camera. The tablet currently runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb, but it will be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich starting mid February. |
